About Mae Sot (Thai Land)
It is a city on the Thai side at the border between Myanmar and Thailand. The Thai side is called Mae Sot, and the Myanmar side is called Myawady. Trade between Thailand and Myanmar is thriving, and goods and people are coming and going. Most goods and products are transported from Thailand to Myanmar, and it seems not to be much from Myanmar to Thailand. In front of the bridge on the Mae Sot side of Thailand is a long line of trucks loaded with goods to be transported to Myanmar. Does it take about 2 hours to get through customs?

Mae Sot Town
| Mae Sot Check Point, just in front of the bridge. Trucks for entering Myanmar are in a long line. I think there were about 40 to 50 trucks. It tells us how many goods are coming from Thailand to Myanmar. The Thai side always looks like this. The Myanmar side is not so much, and there are many trucks returning from Myanmar to Thailand, but it is empty. |

The atmosphere changes dramatically when entering the Thai side. First of all, the road surface condition is better than Myanmar, and the quality of running cars is also better. |
| There is Seven Eleven in Thailand, but not in Myanmar. It is a scene that you are used to seeing in your country, but in Myanmar these convenience stores have to go to central cities such as Yangon. |

There was a Mister donut, which is a Japanese donuts company in Robinsons of Mae Sot. I bought many donuts, and drank Matcha(Japanese green tea) flavor. It can not be bought in Myanmar. |
