Kakku Pagoda is close to Inle Lake, but it is not possible to go to there straghtly, because there is a mountain and there is no technology to make tunnel in Myanmar, so we have to go to Taunggyi at onece, then going to Kakku Pagoda. There is no Bus going to Kakku Pagoda. You have to take a taxi or use tour company. Taking a time for 3 hours from Inle Lake.

　Going to Kakku Pagoda is just a taxi. There is no way to go to Kakku Pagoda by bus, because foreigners can not find the bus. So It is no choice. or it is better to go to Kakku Pagoda by a car taxi. Or it depdns on the driver of motorbike taxi from Taunggyi. I am not sure, there is a rental motorbike in Taunggyi, if you can find and rent it, you can go to by the motorbike. Information of the internet, Kakku Pagoda needs and hires Myanmar guide, but it does not need. I checked at the reception of Kakku Pagoda. You can go to by yourself. However, there is no way to go to there. So almost foreigners hire a taxi or join a tour.
Kakku Pagoda does not have a hotel and guesthouse, so foreigners cannot stay at there. But when I went to the Kakku Pagoda, something is built, it seems the hotel or something, so the hotel might be built near future.

　There is a railway from Taunggyi to Kakku Pagoda. But it takes a time for 4 hours and the departure time is that from Kakku Pagoda is at 6am, from Taunggyi is at 2pm. The train is just one line. so you cannot go to by the railway. And there is no hotel near Kakku Pagoda, so you cannot stay.

　Kaku Pagoda suddenely appear in the field with driving a car and mortorbike. Why did Myanmar people make it in this place? It is mysterious. It is built 800 years ago? Currently there are no towns around the Kaku Pagoda and only small colonies are at there.
