Myanmar Currency, Money Exchange, ATM, Credit Card, Foreigner Entrance Fee

　Few years ago, there is ATM machines very little, but there ara many ATM in Myanmar. But sometimes out of service, and the fee is expensive. The exchange fee is 5,000kyat or 6,000kyat per one time, when you withdrow from your bank account in your country. If you withdrow, just 1,000kyat, the fee is 5,000kyat. The exchanges fee is depends on the bank. KBZ bank which is the bigget bandk in Myanmar, is 5,000kyat. Aya Bank is 6,000kyat. And the limit of the withdrow is 30,000kyat(USD 260) per one time. If you want to withdrow, 40,000kyat, you have to withdrow twice and have to pay the fee also twice, 10,000 or 12,000kyat.

　There are many money exchanges in Myanmar and cities. Almost US Dollar is Exchangeable. The other currency is Euro, Singapore Dollar, Chinee Yuan. I recommend you to take US dollars to Myanmar.
Myanmar is not developed country, so the expensives are cheap. A highest price of highway bus ticket is 30,000kyat, (USD 25). Normally, you pay from 15,000 to 20,000kyat.

If you stay at expensive ang gorgeous hotel, you might need much money, but Myanmar is cheap country, so you do not need to have much money.

And please pay attention, many money exchanges shop do not exchange from USD to Myanmar currency, if you have a stained bill.
I am not sure the reason, if a bill is fold, some Money exchanges shops do not exchange, or the rate is bad a little.

Please take really clean and not stained bill of USD in your country.

If you have just stained bill, money exchange of banks might exchange. But the banks are closed early time.

　Large shopping center, gorgeous hotel and some places, your credit card can be used, but it is not so many.

In Myanmar, Foreigners have to pay the entrance fee at some pagoda and area.

　Basically, mainly Myanmar tourist spots and area need to pay the entrance fee for foreigners. .
The payment is by USD, Euro, Myanmar Kyat. The basis is USD and fixed, if you want to pay by Myanmar currency, it depans and move by exchanges rate.
